Pharmacy First Services
Chiswell Pharmacy & Weight Loss Clinic’s Pharmacy First service under the NHS allows you to be seen by a pharmacist—no appointment needed—for expert diagnosis and treatment of seven common minor illnesses (sinusitis, sore throat, earache, infected insect bites, impetigo, shingles, and uncomplicated UTIs in women). Pharmacists can provide prescription-only medicines, including antibiotics or antivirals when appropriate, and can accept referrals from NHS 111, GPs (during working hours), or patients walking in.
Travel Vaccine
At Chiswell Pharmacy & Weight Loss Clinic Pharmacy, our knowledgeable pharmacists offer bespoke travel health consultations—reviewing your destination, itinerary, and medical background—to recommend and administer essential travel vaccines and prescribe antimalarial and other travel medicines. We also provide official vaccination certificates, advice on insect protection, food and water safety, altitude or jet‑lag remedies, and practical travel health tips. Book ideally 4–8 weeks before departure to ensure full protection and peace of mind wherever your travels take you

It provides immediate relief (usually within 15–20 minutes), is virtually painless (though some noise or mild discomfort may occur), and is conducted under direct vision to minimise risk .
